Two Reminders for Election Day

Today’s election day in the United States. It’s an important day—and there’s certainly going to be a mix of emotions when the results are released. But, as Christians, let’s remember two things today.

One: God is sovereign over everything. God’s Word says he raises up kings … and destroys kingdoms. He’s in control, seeing the end from the beginning, and has a plan in everything. We can trust him, even if the person we’re hoping would win tonight doesn’t win.

Two: This world is not our home. We’re only passing through. While we’re here, our primary mission is to share the gospel.
