Yesterday we learned that God formed earth to be inhabited. So we don’t expect alien life to exist. But what else might God’s Word say on this question?

Well, the Bible teaches that all of creation groans because of our sin. This means that if alien life does exist on other planets, they’re under the curse of sin, too. And yet they didn’t sin in Adam, like we did, and they aren’t his descendants. So aliens -- if they existed -- can’t be saved.

You see, Jesus came to earth to die as the Last Adam, a human and descendant of Adam, like us. He didn’t come as the God-Klingon or some other alien form. No, aliens are science fiction.
