Climate change and other environmental issues are very emotional. Many people are sounding alarms that we’re destroying the planet. Now, should Christians buy into this alarmism?
Well, let’s look to God’s Word. It teaches that God’s given us dominion, meaning he’s entrusted his creation to us for his glory … and our good. We’re to care for his creatures, just as he does.
What about climate change? Well, the global flood is important for understanding this issue. Most importantly, God has promised the seasons will endure until Jesus returns. In other words, we’re not in ultimate control, God is!
Should we be alarmed? No, but we should care for the creation.
