Today is Thanksgiving Day in the United States. It’s a day when we thank the Lord for his provision and grace. Now, this has been a trying year for many people.
Yes, sometimes, when life is hard, it’s difficult to be thankful. But we should be filled with thanksgiving because God has solved our biggest problem.
See our biggest problem isn’t economic, social, or even in our own family. It’s the sin that separates us from a holy God. But Jesus Christ took our place, dying for our sin. We’re forgiven of our sin and given eternal life with God, when we repent and believe.
No matter what your Thanksgiving looks like today, take time to thank God for his free gift.
