Behemoth: a Dinosaur!

The book of Job in the Old Testament describes a creature that’s the largest God made. It had ribs like bars of iron, strong muscles, and a tail like a cedar tree. So what was it?

Well, many Bible footnotes say it’s a hippo … or an elephant. But remember, the Bible’s inspired and inerrant—footnotes aren’t! If you look at a hippo or an elephant, they don’t really fit the description—especially in the tail.

But there is a creature that seems to match—the mighty sauropod dinosaurs. They’re the biggest land creatures God made … and they certainly stood as a testimony to his greatness!

So, the next time you see the fossil remains of one, be reminded how awesome our God is.
