Stewarding with Wisdom

All this week we’ve been looking at what it means to have “dominion” over God’s creation. We’re to care for creation for God’s glory … and our good. But, should we believe and act on every claim by environmentalists?

Well, no, we shouldn’t. We need to exercise godly wisdom. Yes, there are real problems that demand our attention. We’re stewards—we need to care for God’s creation! But many claims by environmentalists are just “crying wolf” … or exaggerating. We need to compare everything we hear against the truth of God’s Word.

Ask yourself … what’s the worldview behind this claim? What’s fact … and what’s interpretation?
