We often hear about the battle over who has the most evidence for their worldview. But is evolution versus creation really a battle over evidence? No. The real battle is over interpretation.
You see, creationists and evolutionists both have the same evidence: the same world, the same rocks, fossils, and animals … and the same universe. But creationists and evolutionists come to very different conclusions about the same evidence. Why? Because of two different starting points.
One starting point is that man determines truth by looking at the world. The other starting point is that God determines truth … and has revealed truth in his Word.
