Mother’s Day is Sunday. It’s a day set aside to thank them for everything they do. I’m thankful for my late mother. She had such a godly influence on my life.

Now mothers, God has given you a unique role in the lives of your children. And you probably know that—after all, you’re living that role every day! Here are three things I’m thankful for about godly mothers:

One. Mothers who pray for their children. It has a huge impact!

Two. Mothers who emphasize God’s Word as the authority. Now, in our culture where “anything goes,” this is so important!

Three. Mothers who point their kids to the gospel because it’s the gospel that saves!
