Genesis chapter nineteen records the account of Sodom, a city destroyed because of its sin—including the sin emphasized in this chapter: homosexual behavior.

But some Christians argue that homosexuality is not what the chapter’s talking about. They’ll say it’s some other sin, like a lack of hospitality.

But Christians throughout history have always recognized homosexual behavior as part of the sin of Sodom. Those who argue that it’s not one of Sodom’s sins are only doing so because they don’t want to believe and obey what the Bible clearly teaches.

It’s just another version of the old attack, “Did God really say”? We need to stand on God’s Word.
