Yesterday we learned we should share the gospel starting in Genesis. How do we do that? Well, we begin by explaining that God created everything, including us. He made everything perfect.

But the first man sinned against God and brought death into creation. We sinned in him—and continue to sin—and we deserve death.

You see, death is the penalty for sin. But Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, stepped into history. He died in our place, taking our sin upon himself. He paid our penalty! He then rose from the grave and offers the free gift of salvation to all who’ll believe.

If we repent and believe, our sins are forgiven by Christ’s sacrifice.
