Transcript

Everyone’s heard of the star that led the magi to the young Jesus. But what exactly was this star? Well, over the years, people have speculated about what it might’ve been. Perhaps a planet, a supernova, or even a comet.

But a supernova or a comet would’ve been so bright, everyone would’ve noticed it. But we know it couldn’t have been so obvious because King Herod didn’t notice it.

Really, we can’t know exactly what the star was. The Bible doesn’t say. It just says it was a light in the heavens. But it was likely a supernatural event to accomplish God’s will.

What we do know is that this star successfully led the magi to worship the king Jesus.
