Part 1

Listen

This is Ken Ham, a missionary to our evolutionized culture . . . and even to the church.

Transcript

The book of Genesis tells us that God created everything “according to their kinds.” Now, our modern classification system groups organisms according to kingdom, phylum, class, order, family, genus, species. So what’s a “kind?”

Well, it seems that “kind” is equivalent to “family.” Often, organisms in the same family, even if they’re different species, can breed together. So organisms that belong to the same “family” are probably part of the same “kind.”

Let’s look at cats. There are about thirty-six species of cats. But they all belong to the same family, so they’re all part of the same kind.

There’s lots of variety within a kind, but cats, stay cats!
