Beauty … and Ugliness

Romans chapter one says God turns a culture that rejects him over to their wicked hearts, specifically to the sin of homosexual behavior. But some Christians argue that Romans is only talking about abusive practices.

Well, here’s the biggest problem with that idea: it elevates our thoughts above the authority of the Word of God. Because that’s not what God’s Word says—it’s very clear! Those who argue against how Christians have always understood this passage, do so on their own authority, not the authority of God’s Word.

We should always allow God to be our authority. And when we start with the Bible, it’s clear—God created marriage to be one man and one woman, for life.
