Imagine this: you’re a fisherman, just hauling in the day’s catch. You see a weird-looking bluish fish and just shrug it off. There’re lots of weird fish out there after all!
You put it out for sale in a fish market and, suddenly, you’re being told you found a fish that went extinct seventy million years ago!
That’s the true story of the discovery of a fish called the coelacanth—well, all except the seventy million years part! Now, this fish was nearly identical to the fossils. It hadn’t evolved in millions of years!
Of course, that’s because the coelacanth kind was created by God. And the fossil—well, it was formed just a few thousand years ago, during Noah’ flood.
