Did you know that in many ways, Halloween is a celebration of death? But at the same time, death doesn’t have to be scary.
You see, God originally created a perfect creation. But according to Genesis chapter 3, sin changed everything. Because of sin, we die.
But Jesus Christ stepped into history as the God-man. He took the death we deserve for us on the cross; then he rose from the grave, conquering death. He now offers the free gift of eternal life to all who will put their faith and trust in him.
For those who’ve trusted in Christ, death isn’t something to be feared. That’s because Christ defeated death! When we die, we join him forever.
