This is Ken Ham, CEO of the ministry that built a full-size Noah’s Ark south of Cincinnati.
When scientists search for cures for diseases, do their ends justify their means?
How do you feel about children are being experimented on and then thrown away to die when the experiment is over? Now you’d be horrified!
Yet that’s exactly what’s happening. A new area of research is called “gene editing.” Now, gene editing isn’t bad in and of itself. It has potential to help a lot of people. But some scientists do gene editing on human embryos—tiny human babies. And when they’re done with the experiment, they “discard” these children to die.
The ends do not justify the means. We need research that honors all human life—even the unborn.
