Many Christians today believe God used evolution and millions of years to create life. But does this match with Scripture? Well, Genesis one tells us that God saw everything he’d made “and it was very good.”
In the fossil record we find evidence of cancer, arthritis, and brain tumors. Are these things “very good”? Well, of course not! But if the fossil record is millions of years old, that means there was death and disease in God’s original, very good creation. But death was a result of sin!
Millions of years and evolution are contrary to Scripture. Instead of trusting sinful man’s interpretation of the evidence, we need to trust the Bible.
