Death Before Sin?

Now, Genesis tells us that God’s original creation was “very good.” God warned Adam not to eat of one specific tree, or he’d die. Adam chose to disobey God. And his choice brought death into creation.

See, the book of Romans reminds us that it’s because of one man’s sin that we all sin. Now, Scripture’s clear—death comes because of sin.

Yet many Christians try to fit millions of years into Genesis. But that always puts millions of years of death before sin. It puts the punishment before the crime.

We don’t need to fit a secular interpretation of the evidence into the Bible.

When we start with God’s Word, we can trust it fully.
