All this week we’ve been looking at when does life begin. Now, based on science, we know that everything needed to make a human is present from the moment of fertilization. The moment an egg and sperm meet, a unique individual has been formed—with a combination of information never before seen. So why do so many people still support abortion and other life-ending practices?
Well, it comes down to our worldview. If we’re just animals, what’s wrong with killing the unborn? We kill spare cats, why not spare kids?
But from a biblical worldview, we’re not just animals. We’re made in God’s image, with unique dignity … and all have a right to life.
