A Day is a … Day

In an attempt to fit millions of years into the Bible, some people say the days in Genesis chapter one aren’t twenty-four hour days. But how can we know?

Well…three things.

One. Context! Day is used over two thousand times in the Old Testament, and we always know what it means because of context. And Genesis one has all the keys to tell us these are regular days.

Second. Even if the days could be stretched out, it doesn’t solve the problem. The order of events is totally different between the Bible and the big bang … as well as biological evolution.

Third. Millions of years always puts death before sin. But death was the penalty for sin!
