I’m often asked how to fit dinosaurs in the Bible. And the answer is—don’t! We should always start our thinking with God’s Word. So we don’t “fit” dinosaurs into the Bible. Instead, we use the Bible to understand dinosaurs.
The Bible tells us all land animals were created on day six of creation week.
Dinosaurs were land animals, so they were created on day six. We find them as fossils because of the global flood of Noah’s day. The dinosaurs that weren’t on the ark drowned and became fossils. After the flood, the dinosaurs got off the ark, but eventually went extinct for the same reasons many creatures go extinct today.
