The miracle of the resurrection secured the hope of every believer. We have hope in this life—and the one to come—because Christ triumphed over death and sin.

Now, the apostles believed that Christ’s resurrection was so important that they made it the heart of their message. When faced with persecution and even death, they wouldn’t deny the reality of the resurrection. They knew that Christ had risen, and that his resurrection was the message the world needed to hear.

And sadly, many people back then and even now reject the historicity of the resurrection. But there’s no reason to be skeptical! This week we’ll look at some of the evidence for Christ’s resurrection.
