Reaching “Greeks” with the Gospel

Yesterday we learned that our culture is like the Greeks the Apostle Paul preached to in Acts. They don’t have a biblical foundation—even some who used to go to church! So how can we reach them?

Well, we need to do what Paul did when he was teaching the Greeks: start with God as Creator.

We can’t just assume people know God as Creator … or that they understand man’s sin nature. Without Genesis and the Old Testament, the message of the gospel doesn’t make sense!

Why do we sin? Why do we need a Savior? Why is death our deserved penalty? All of these questions are answered in the Old Testament!

And to reach people effectively with the gospel, we need to start in Genesis.
