Did you know that the Sahara Desert used to be a lush wetland? Today, it’s hard to imagine trees, ponds, and flowering plants overflowing with life, in a place that’s now sand, sand, and more sand!
What happened to change this paradise into such a wasteland? Well, Noah’s flood. You see, after the Flood, the world was very wet, and the oceans were warm. And around the equator, the continents experienced heavy rainfall. Life flourished.
But as the world settled down, the oceans cooled, and weather patterns changed. The Sahara dried out and became the desert it is today.
Our world is filled with remainders of God’s judgment.
