Why do we find dinosaur fossils? And why only in three layers, the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous? Well, this is where the Bible’s history is important.

According to that historical record, there was a global flood a few thousand years ago. Now, this flood rapidly buried billions of organisms, including the dinosaurs not on board the ark.

And we only find dinosaurs in certain layers because they show habitats that were buried, one after the other. Dinosaurs aren’t found in lower layers because they didn’t live in the ocean. And they aren’t found in higher layers because they couldn’t escape the rising waters.
