Have you ever heard the claim that Christ’s resurrection was just a legend? It’s a common argument from skeptics, that the resurrection was nothing more than an exaggerated story.

Well the apostle Paul wrote in Second Corinthians fifteen that Christ had appeared to over five hundred people at once. If anyone didn’t believe Paul’s testimony, they could’ve asked numerous eyewitnesses.

Paul also said he’d received his message from Jesus, and that it was confirmed by Peter and James—just five years after Christ’s death and resurrection. Five years is far too short a time for an entire legend to develop.
