We all know sharks are carnivores, right? Wrong!

One species of shark, the bonnet-head shark, has been observed tearing away at sea grass. Researchers assumed the sharks were eating little creatures living amid the grass. But when the they fed bonnet-head sharks a mostly sea grass diet, the sharks maintained their strength and health! The sharks were actually eating and digesting the grass.

Remember, Genesis chapter one tells us God originally created everything vegetarian. It wasn’t until after man’s sin that animals began eating one another.

Sharks munching on sea grass reminds us of God’s original design—and of the new creation that’s coming.
