Who's Your Authority?

If I asked you, “Who’s your ultimate authority?” what would you say? As Christians, our authority must be God’s Word. It came from the perfect Creator, and he doesn’t lie. It’s the only authoritative source.

But many Christians try to take parts of man’s religion of evolution and fit them somewhere into the Bible. They elevate man’s word above God’s Word.

And this leads to all sorts of problems. When you try to put evolution and millions of years into the Bible, you always put death before sin. But the Bible tells us death came because Adam rebelled against God. So, you end up reinterpreting God’s clear Word because of sinful man’s ideas!

We need to trust God fully.
