Secular scientists believe there were over 30 long ice ages throughout earth’s history. But every mechanism proposed for how to start—and continue—an ice age has serious flaws. They can’t explain one, let alone dozens of ice ages.

But when we start with God’s Word, we can explain the ice age. There was just one ice age, a few thousand years ago. And Noah’s flood was the mechanism! Intense volcanism warmed the oceans. It filled the atmosphere with particles that blocked sunlight. This led to lots of evaporation. It fell as snow and created the perfect conditions for an ice age.
