In a world’s first, scientists in China have cloned primates. They used the same method that produced Dolly the sheep.

These monkeys are genetically identical. Now, researchers are hoping they’ll be able to use them in medical research.

After this announcement, many people were wondering if humans are next. Well, the researchers are saying it’s too risky to try on humans. But this doesn’t mean eventually someone won’t attempt it. In an evolutionary worldview, humans are just primates, so why not?

But in a biblical worldview, humans are uniquely made in God’s image. We shouldn’t try something as risky and wasteful as cloning embryos made in God’s image.
