This is Ken Ham, author, speaker, and blogger on science and the Bible’s reliability.
Diamonds are thought to be one of the oldest substances on earth. And they are! But they aren’t billions of years old. They’re formed in creation rocks, so they’re only around 6,000 years old.
You’ve probably heard of carbon-14. Often used as a dating method, it can only last for tens of thousands of years. After that amount of time, it will have completely decayed. But researchers have found carbon-14 in diamonds.
Now follow me here: if they really are billions of years old, there shouldn’t be any Carbon-14 left—but there is! And they’re too hard to have been contaminated.
They aren’t just beautiful—they point to the truth of the Bible’s history.
