As we’ve seen this week, science is knowledge we gain from our five senses about the natural world. But this definition has been hijacked today.

Now, to many people, “science” means the search for natural explanations. They exclude God and the supernatural completely.

But this isn’t a scientific idea. When people start with the idea that there must be natural explanations for everything, they’re appealing to naturalism, atheism—and that’s their religious starting point! They automatically assume there’s no God.

You see, the creation and evolution battle isn’t about the evidence. It’s a battle of two starting points: God’s Word vs. man’s word.
