Jesus—He’s Always Existed!

Ask the question “when did Jesus come into existence?” and you will probably get different answers. Maybe a date, like 4 BC, or “at the beginning of creation.” But what does the Bible say?

Scripture teaches Jesus has no beginning or end. He is “pre-existent.” In the gospel of John, we read that Jesus existed “before the world began” and that “in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” The Apostle Paul writes that Jesus is our Creator and sustainer.

Jesus isn’t a created being like you and me. He is the eternal God who’s always been from eternity past and always will be in eternity.
