Transcript

Yesterday we learned that there was only one Ice Age in earth’s history, and it was caused by the effects of the Flood of Noah’s day. This Flood occurred over 4,300 years ago. There is some disagreement among creationist researchers about exactly when the Ice Age began after the Flood, and how long it lasted. But we know it was relatively soon after the Flood and lasted only a few hundred years.

Interestingly, Job, who lived before the time of Abraham, often mentions snow, ice, and hail in his book. This isn’t weather he would normally see based on his location. Perhaps Job was describing the Ice Age!

When we start with the history recorded in God’s Word, we can explain what we see in the world.
