The Origin of Life

How did life begin? Does a small, warm pond—or maybe an undersea vent—come to mind? What about another planet that just happened to send life to earth at some point? Well these are interesting stories, but they are just that—stories.

You see, one of the laws of nature is the law of biogenesis. This law says that life only comes from other life. No exception to this rule has ever been observed in nature or in the lab.

So how did life begin? It couldn’t have started from non-life. Science has demonstrated that is impossible. Life came from the life-giver, the Creator.

We don’t have to ignore the laws of nature to explain life. We can turn to God’s Word for the answer.
