Is That a Rock or the Ark?

Various expeditions have claimed to find Noah’s Ark. But has anyone really found this piece of history?

Well, satellite images in 2003 showed an Ark-shaped object jutting out of the side of Mt. Ararat. But geologists concluded it was just a rock outcropping. It only appears sort-of ark-like when ice and snow melt in the right spots.

Another popular spot in Turkey features an Ark-shaped formation. One explorer even claims to have brought back artifacts from this supposed Ark site. But many researchers, including Christians, have visited the site and say it’s nothing more than a geological formation.
