This is Ken Ham, and our life-size Noah’s Ark is open south of Cincinnati.
This week we are looking at reasons we should be thankful that God created us, and we didn’t evolve.
For many who hold to an evolutionary worldview, mankind is nothing more than a highly evolved animal. And every animal has just as much right to creation as we do. In their view, mankind -- with our cities and booming population -- are a destructive force on earth. We are nothing more than a blight spoiling mother earth for all the other creatures.
But in a biblical worldview, we are specially made in God’s image, and given the job by him of caring for creation.
Nature doesn’t exist for its own ends—it exists to glorify God and be our home. We have a responsibility to care for it—and point to the Creator.
