We have been looking at 10 reasons Christians should be creationists.

Number five: moved to worship.

When we allow God’s Word to be the authority over us, we gain a higher view of God and we are inspired to worship Him. But when we take man’s word over God’s Word, we are playing “god”—deciding truth for ourselves. This certainly doesn’t lead to a high view of God!

And consider this. When we look at all God’s made, what usually happens? We are moved to worship the Creator who made the stars and designed the wings of a butterfly! But if it is all the product of natural processes, even if God intervened at some point, why should we be moved to worship Him?
