Jesus Is Trustworthy

All last week and again this week we are looking at 10 reasons every Christian should be a creationist.

Number six: Jesus is trustworthy.

Jesus treated the Old Testament as real history. He referred to Abraham, Moses, and Noah as historical figures who really lived and did the things Scripture says they did. Jesus said that humans were created “from the very beginning.” But if humans were created billions of years after the beginning, how is Jesus trustworthy? He was either lying or misguided.

When we reject the literal history in Genesis, we have to say Jesus was wrong. But not only is Jesus God, He is the eyewitness Creator. We can trust what He says about origins.
