Why is there a relative order to the fossil record, the remains of dead things in rock layers? Well, evolutionists will tell you it is because each layer represents a different era, and the creatures and environments that lived during that time.

But if we look at the fossil record through a biblical lens, we will interpret it very differently. Noah’s global Flood would have ripped up miles of sediment and redeposited it in layers. Organisms would have been trapped and buried.

As the floodwaters rose, they overwhelmed different environments, starting with the ocean floor and moving toward the continents.

So the layers don’t represent different times but different environments of the same time during Noah’s Flood.
