Transcript

This week and last week, we have been looking at 10 reasons every Christian should be a creationist.

Here is number seven: death grieved Jesus.

If God used evolution, then death and suffering were part of God’s original creative processes. So why did Jesus spend so much of His earthly ministry healing the sick and even raising the dead? If evolution was God’s plan, then death and sickness are actually good things.

But Jesus treated death and suffering as intruders. He grieved over the sick and the dead. Why? Because these were intruders into His creation!

It is because of sin that death and sickness like cancer are part of creation. But someday they will be gone forever.
