Many atheists insist that their belief system isn’t a religion. They say it is a non-belief. But a definition of a religion is “a cause, principle, or system of belief held to with ardor and faith.”

Now, atheists believe life arose by natural processes and that life comes from non-life. But neither of these beliefs has ever been confirmed by science.

They believe there is no God, no supernatural, and that everything is the result of natural processes. This belief system, called naturalism, cannot be proven.

In their view, morality is the result of man’s opinions, not grounded in any ultimate authority.
