In our debate in 2014, Bill Nye “the Science Guy” claimed that Noah could have never fit all the animals onto the Ark. But, actually, there was no problem for Noah. The Ark was much bigger than most people think. We have built a full-size Ark so that people are able to see how large it actually was. Jaws often drop as visitors take in the massive size!

Also, Noah didn’t really have to take that many animals on board. He only needed to take two of every kind (and 7 of some), and not species. And no fish or marine creatures. Noah probably only needed around 1.400 kinds of animals. That is only a few thousand in total.

The Ark had plenty of room!
