In 2014, the media excitedly announced that they had found supposed proof of the big bang. Many Christians have been troubled by this since the big bang contradicts God’s Word. But it turned out the find wasn’t really what we were led to believe.

It wasn’t proof of the big bang at all. It was supposed confirmation of cosmic inflation, what we call a “rescuing device” for the big bang. But it turns out it wasn’t cosmic inflation at all, but probably just the result of dust!

This shows that news reports shouldn’t shake our faith in God’s Word. Because God’s Word is true, scientists’ findings will eventually confirm it as more research is done.
