Transcript

Yesterday, we learned that coal can form quickly. But those who believe in an old-earth say that it took millions of years to produce all the coal we have today. But is the evidence consistent with this idea? Not at all!

Carbon-14 dating is often used to date things that are supposedly tens of thousands of years old. But carbon-14 decays quickly, so anything allegedly older than many thousands of years shouldn’t have any carbon-14 in it. But there is carbon-14 in coal deposits! This coal can’t be millions of years old, or all the carbon-14 would be gone.

The Bible provides the true age for coal. Most of these deposits were formed during the global Flood, 4,300 years ago.
