So What’s Happened in America?

Many Christians wonder what has happened in America. Biblical values are ridiculed, and God has largely been kicked out of the public sphere. Those who dare stand against things like gay “marriage” or abortion often face punishment or other backlash. So what has happened?

Well, by and large, our culture has replaced the foundation of God’s Word with man’s word. Instead of thinking biblically, our culture simply does whatever is right in its own eyes.

Let’s use marriage as an example. God created marriage and defined it as between a man and a woman for life. But as soon as you get rid of the firm foundation of God’s Word, marriage can be whatever you want it to be.

Bottom line: our culture has a foundation problem.
