It’s a Brand New Year

Many people have just made New Year’s resolutions. Well, if you haven’t made your resolution yet, it is not too late to resolve to start reading all of God’s Word.

Sadly, many Christians rarely read their Bibles. And if they do, they normally only read the New Testament. But did you know the Old Testament is foundational to the New Testament? It provides the history so we can understand what happens in the New Testament.

You see, Jesus’ coming, dying on the Cross, and rising again is the grand culmination of Old Testament history and prophecy. Without this history you can’t fully understand why Jesus came to die and rise again.

So this year read God’s Word—all of it, starting at Genesis!
