Transcript

One popular way to try to fit millions of years into the Bible is to add a gap between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2. Now we have already seen this week that this bad idea puts death, animal carnivory, and thorns before sin. These things are all consequences of sin.

Now supposedly during this gap, a world existed before Adam and Eve. But Genesis teaches that God created everything in six days.

And it is not just Genesis! Exodus also says that “in six days the Lord created the heavens, the earth, the sea, and all that is in them.”

There couldn’t be a world before Adam because the Bible teaches everything was created in six days.

Don’t try to add long ages into Genesis!
