This week we have seen how morality has become whatever is right in our culture’s eyes. You see, our society has shifted from starting its thinking with God’s Word to man’s ideas.

We see this shift with current attitudes towards marriage. The reasoning goes, “If two people love each other, why shouldn’t they be allowed to get married?”

Well, what about three people who love each other . . . or someone who loves an animal or even a child? Without the foundation of God’s Word, these things are only wrong because of a lack of “acceptance” by the culture.

But when we start with God’s Word, we have a foundation for defining marriage. Then we can confidently say things like gay “marriage,” it is wrong.
