Bill Nye “the Science Guy” visited our life-size Ark last summer. Now, during his time there, I asked him, “Are we animals?” He said yes—we’re animals.
I then told him my biggest concern was that generations of young people are being taught they are nothing more than animals.
If we are just animals, then why should we value life? Animals don’t. Why not get rid of spare kids like spare cats? We are seeing this with abortion.
I continued: why should we behave morally? Animals don’t have a moral code. And yet we know that some things are right and wrong. Why?
Well, because we aren’t animals. We are uniquely created in the image of God, separate from the animals . . . and accountable to our Creator.
